Create an Urdu PDF in the browser without depending on an InPage file. Use Unicode Urdu, select right-to-left direction, choose a font with Urdu coverage, and test mixed English, dates, and numbers.
Older InPage files may store text in a legacy encoding that does not behave like standard Unicode. If pasted Urdu appears as unrelated symbols, export or convert the source to Unicode first; changing the PDF font alone cannot repair the underlying character data.
Nastaliq is familiar for Urdu but has complex vertical positioning and may produce different line heights. Naskh-style fonts are often more predictable in web editors. Use the font that passes your own joining, line-spacing, and copy/search test.
Bidirectional text can move punctuation or numerals unexpectedly. Put longer English passages in their own LTR paragraph and inspect phone numbers, dates, and parentheses after conversion.
